ok..looks like my Luck still didnt go to Dogs yet :D
By pure luck and fluke, I was able to get an Infopass appt for Sep 11
There was only one appt available for the entire month of sep 08 at Tampa office.
Hopefully I will know something concrete on EB-2 visa drainage system.LOL :)
Thanks for giving an insight.

Isnt it odd that the timing of your rally coincides with the introduction of the Strive act?
Granted you scored a point when you were allowed to file for employment authorization this July. If your one rally worked, do you really think other rallies will work too? The world of politics is driven by numbers; you do not have enough numbers to get any lawmaker interested. So wake up Macacas, admit it, you all are bunch of losers.
So far as the skills are concerned, you have been harping on the theme that you are highly skilled? If the definition of highly skilled is a mere undergrad degrees then 75% of Adult Americans are highly skilled. I bet not even 5% of you have PHDs and you call yourself highly skilled. Huhhh
And this for the leadership of your organization: You are wasting your time. If you are so desperate to get green cards contact me. We will see what we can do One thing I believe though is this country needs people with leadership skills and not so called "Highly Skilled". So I will be more than happy to work with you. I am sure you have my e-mail address. At the least, I can help make the process faster for you, if so called visa numbers are available.
Can you let us know how you bought your scrawny a** into US?
I assume that you are an Italian. You people are a bunch of refugees who were let into US on humanitarian grounds way back in 1930s and you people thanked the country back by unleashing notorious mobs like Al Capone. Just ask your grandfather about their past and he will tell you the filthy lives they endured in NY slums.
We came into this country in a more dignified and respectable way than you. We competed among the 65,000 H1Bs and were welcomed to work in the land of opportunities. Neither did we cling to refugee boats to enter US nor did we survive on meal tickets for a living. While we were shaping the Silicon Valley, you people were shaping the valley of drugs, smuggling, kidnapping, extortion and prostitution. All that you people can do is to eat, reproduce and talk trash.
Talking about numbers, theres a difference between 10,000 pigs and one lion. And the fact is that the population of lions is always less than pigs.
Now that you know the difference between high skilled workers and trash pickers, get the f*** out of here.

I became an IV memeber few days back during May 2007 and actually became active sometime around June 10th 2007. Within this short timeframe - IV core and its great (mostly :)) members have given me so much knowledge, confidence that i filed my 485 on my own during July 2nd - I just cant believe that i did that !!!
Now its July 17th its the same IV who made USCIS accept all those hard earned documents .... Yes - I'm that guy who was forced to sign a $10,000 bond for getting Future employment letter.
"No bond, no employment letter - show me what you got" - I was thrown this challenge straight on the face. Now once i get EAD its my turn to show them what i got.
Go IV Go - we are all with you.
Yes.
If members continue the support and we will definitely now aim for these. The battle is only half won with 485 filings

I believe my case is pre-adjudicated.
My lawyer says she has a way to contact TCS but not to NSC.
Is there any way remind NSC about my case becoming current in september 2009?

I am EB3-I (pd 02 retrogressed) but was interested in this discussion so i emailed my lawyer about it. She said, historically the last month of the fiscal year has the most approvals as they try to clear as much as they can. You will see a lot more approvals from next week or sept 2nd week.
.......assuming there are still remaining visa numbers. It so happened last few of years that USCIS was sitting on their hands until last month. Is it the case this year ?

My PD is May 2006. I applied for I-485 in September 2008 when my date had become current. Subsequently got married and now waiting for my date to be current again so I could add my wife.
I had given hope and was not preparing for anything and hence have India trip planned (wife 11th Sept - 1st Nov and I'd go for the month of October).
Given the latest movement, now I think to be safe I should do all that is necessary that in case dates move forward enough for October, I should be able to add my wife to my application. If there are any comments/advice around this, please do let me know.
Also, what would be the things to get ready for her? I hope it'd be alrite that she will be in India while we apply for her I-485?
Thanks for all the advise!

UN from what I read he was out of status from Mar 2003 to Apr 2004. Pls correct me if I am wrong
Yes; he was out of status from March 2003. However; he had a valid I-94 card until February 2004. He didn't have a valid I-94 from February 2004 until april 2004.
once;he left and re-entered then the out of status time was finished. Since he didn't overstay his I-94 card by more then 180 days then he is not subject to the 3 year bar.
If his I-94 card expired in March 2003 then he would have had unlawful presence from that date forward and since it was more then one year then he would have been subject to 10 year bar.

Guys/Gals...
Sorry but do not want to be a damper... But this thread does not give me the right feeling. I have been a member of IV i think from dec 2005 and contributed quite a few hundered dollars and just like this organization as a simplistic, good non-profit orgnization with good intentions....
But in this thread we see a taunt... which is more like we will not have numbers in DC and then some triades...
So far whenever such type of hate comments are posted, I have noticed that the IV core/ Super moderators either close the threads or blacklist the user....
But in this case we see periodically (i think a couple of times) that super moderators are only making comments that we need to prove numbers so join the rally....
Sorry to say this but i feel either this stage managed ( the triades) or super moderators/ IV core are taking advantage of this thread.... Both I feel are inappropriate....
If I am wrong in what i have stated - My apologies to Supermoderators / IV Core.... But If I am right then I think personally it is a sad day since it lowered the image of IV in front of a great admirer.

On the same note I have a question for the Gurus.
My name is reversed ( first name and last name interchanged) on my SSN and hence on my credit cards, employment letters etc though my name is correct on my passport , H1 , I-797 and on files AOS.. etc.
Will this pose a problem in the name check process?
My attorney said I should change my name with SSN after EAD/AP arrives.
Let me know ur opinions.
Thanks
Murali
